As new season Rudolph potatoes are harvested across the UK by Fenmarc growers this month, a new website dedicated to the Rudolph brand has also been launched. www.rudolphpotatoes.com, launched on the 21st September and will feature the new Rudolph identity, alongside news, grower profiles and recipe ideas by TV chef Rachel Green.
The launch of the website follows Rudolph Day, on Wednesday 21st September, when restaurateurs, chefs and retailers received samples of this outstanding premium-red maincrop potato. Rudolph is also great tasting with superb eating qualities and is celebrated as having the same versatility as a Maris Piper spud, couple that with its impressive appearance - striking red skin and snowy white flesh - it is the rising star of maincrop potatoes.
Maria Paice, Fenmarc's Marketing Manager, said: "The new website is just part of our ongoing commitment towards the Rudolph brand. It contains information on all aspects of Rudolph - including its key features and benefits, how it's grown and some delicious recipe ideas too. Rudolph is a tried and tested variety and, like all our produce, is grown by our dedicated experts across the country who of course you can 'meet' on the site."
Recipes have been created by a true Rudolph fan, top chef and farmer's daughter Rachel Green, who demonstrates Rudolph's reliability and convenience for use in the home and within restaurants and food service a like. All recipes maximise Rudolph's superb taste and texture and include Moroccan Shepherd's Pie, Pavta Batata and Fiery Red Wedges.
