Red Nose Day... more like Rudolph's red nose day...

... colleagues from across our business came to work wearing red to raise funds for Comic Relief, with a few colleagues in particular in some very interesting outfits including red pants and a bikini!

Colleagues not only dressed up for the occasion, they also donated money to take some tasty Rudolph spuds home, having to battle a few pesky Comic Relief noses playing hide and seek in a the Rudolph Potato store. The exclusive Fenmarc variety was a great fit to celebrate Red Nose Day with its similar vibrant red skin and is delicious baked, roasted, wedged or mashed.

Colleagues across Fenmarc raised a fabulous £108.00 through all of our efforts!

Giving something back is at the heart of Fenmarc's culture, "Colleagues from all areas of our business love to get involved in both national and local charity events" said Gemma Davis, Marketing Coordinator, "so we jumped at the opportunity to enjoy our Red Rudolph Potatoes whilst at the same time raising money for Comic Relief, a great charity surrounded by red noses, whilst we’re surrounded by red potatoes".

From Comic Relief Red Noses to Rudolph Red Potatoes; so named because of its vibrant red skin and contrasting snowy white flesh, Rudolph has fantastic eating qualities, a smooth and creamy texture and a naturally sweet flavour. At the Grower of the Year industry awards 2011, the exclusive variety was named a finalist in the "Best New Variety" category demonstrating its taste and consumer appeal.
