Fenmarc @ IFE 2011

Fenmarc headed for London and the Excel Exhibition Centre on the 13th - 16th March for 2011's largest gathering of international food and drink suppliers.

Part of the Select Lincolnshire exhibition stand in the Speciality and Regional food area, we promoted the fantastic produce we grow in Lincolnshire alongside 1100 other exhibitors from around the world. It was a vibrant area at the Fenmarc stand, where we showcased all three areas of our business, highlighting two of our fantastic exclusive potato varieties, Rudolph and Belana, as well as promoting our retail brand The Very Very Veg Co.

"The recent International Food Exhibition was a great event in conjunction Select Lincolnshire, organised and executed very well", said Clare Dixon, Marketing Executive. "Being a member of Select Lincolnshire allows us to directly support and promote Lincolnshire, an extremely important growing area for Fenmarc, something we are very passionate about and proud to support".

At the demo kitchen in the English Pavilion, Rachel Green, brand ambassador for Select Lincolnshire cooked up delicious samples of baked and wedged Rudolph over the four days, giving visitors the chance to try our fantastic potato. Many walked away telling further visitors and exhibitors about our tasty spuds!

The Agricultural Minister Jim Paice also made a visit to the Select Lincolnshire exhibition stand to show his support for locally produced food.

The Select Lincolnshire brand now in its 6th year has become an established aid for food and drink companies from the Humber to the Wash, helping businesses to identify new routes to market. Fenmarc have been a member of the group since March 2009 and joined the event with other Lincolnshire Produce companies, all striving to push Lincolnshire forward as one of the UK's top counties for food production.
